The most important feature of this shoe pocket is that it will accomodate a credit card (driver's license, etc.), something my previous shoe pocket would not do. The zippered pocket is a great touch for things like a key, etc. that you want to make sure are more secure.

The only down side is that I found this slides around a lot while I'm running, even when I loop it through all the laces. This was disappointing.

I bought this the day before a long race (half-marathon) specifically to store my 2 keys. While running the race, the zipper literally UNZIPPED and my keys fell out. I never found them...
